Racing Machines

There's something about futuristic hover racing that I cannot get enough of. Normally, I have only a passing interest in racing - I have never actually taken the time to watch a F1 race on tv - but if you take the wheels off one of those cars, I will read about it, play it, design it.

My main inspiration is, naturally, WipEout. That's the side that I joined in the great WipEout - F-Zero war, probably just because I had a PS2 and didn't have a Gamecube.

Art relating to the world of EXOTURBINE, a hover racing game that I am currently working on. Some of this was made before I decided to turn it into a game.

Once upon a time, I made mods for an indie racing game. Unfortunately, I discovered the developers and other prominent members of the community being transphobic dicks about a former contributer to the project. After that, I chose to distance myself from the game.

However, I cannot help but be proud of the effort that I put into those mods. Here are some of the Steam Workshop thumbnails that I made for my favourite custom teams.

It's weird to have such complex feelings about a silly racing game of all things.
