No Rest for the Wicked

The most fun that I've had playing a tabletop game was the Beam Saber campaign that I played with some close friends.

In this game, we were a small squad of mechanised cavalry serving under a minor noble in an oligarchy called The Superlative. I played Number 13, callsign "Wraith". She was a heavily modified cyborg whose humanity had been scooped out so that there was more room for violence.

Our other player characters:

Wave
A grizzled sea captain who, despite having a real hard edge, ended up being a bit of an emotional core for the team. Indeed, it was roleplaying quiet scenes with Wave that drove most of Wraith's character development.
Eclipse
A noble-turned-infiltrator who seemed like she had a lot to prove. She seemed very enthusiastic about getting Wraith to try tea.
Grizzly
A seemingly uncomplicated fellow, Grizzly was big, strong, and loved their drink. Don't get too close when they start to swing their axe.

"No Rest for the Wicked" was the name of Wraith's mech. So yes, calling the page this is very self-centred. However, I can't think of anything else to call this, and it's my website, so nyeh.

Art inspired by the campaign

A 3D render inspired by Wraith's backstory, featuring mechs of the same class as "No Rest for the Wicked".
Number 13 is ambushed during a mission to investigate a set of coordinates located in the depths of a jungle.
